Is Wii Sports Resort worth the hype it’s getting?

In a word….YES!

I picked this game up on release date for the family to play at the beach.  We have two boys and my brother and his family were along as well.  Did we enjoy every second of playing Wii Sports Resort….absolutely! The scary thing is how much my wife enjoyed playing Swordplay Showdown.  If you haven’t heard about this, it’s where you control your Mii taking on a horde of other random mii’s (sorry, you can’t bash in your in-laws) all coming at you with swords.  My wife’s “form” reminded us of  “whack a mole” from the arcade.  She was content to bash the evil miis over the head with her blade and keep moving.  I made a mental note not to get her a sword…ever.  It was also entertaining to watch our four year old hack his way through the firs few levels without too much trouble.  Granted, further in, more technique is required, but the first few levels can be beaten by anyone from age 4 and up.

Our oldest son likes the basketball and loves the 3-on-3 pickup games.  The depth amazes me as the players rotate and help out on defense.  My brother enjoyed the 3 point shootout and even managed to rack up a 26 score before his elbow screamed for him to stop.

Overall, I’m very pleased with our Wii Sports Resort purchase.  I recommend checking ebay to see if you can find one bundled with more than one Wii MotionPlus adapter.  You need it to play the game and this game is best enjoyed on a multiplayer level.

I’m having a hard time choosing what game i want to buy, either wii sports resort because it comes with wii motion plus or reserve metroid prime trilogy because it comes with a shirt, a poster, and an artbook. They both sound good I’m just not sure which game I want to buy. I need help!

I only have one wii mote and i want to know which games on wii sports resort can be played on multiplayer with only one wii mote.

If you remember when Mike Tyson was king of the boxing world and not head of the funny farm, then you probably remember Mike Tyson’s Punch-out for the NES.  A great game that had you the underdog fighting your way through a varied group of opponents.  Well now many of those opponents have returned to see if you (or your kids) have what it takes to be champion.  Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, Punch-out is a blast for solo or competitive play.  Keep your hands up and look for openings….otherwise you’ll be saying “I coulda been a contenda!”

I just got the Wii Fit and I freakin LOVE IT! Its sooo much fun :]

anyways, I plan on working out on it for at least 30 min a day so which excersises should I use to tone up my abs and thighs?

Whats the difference between wii fit "starter kit" and wii fit "bundle" on gamestop.com?
OK! I totally just figured out the bundle thing… so those are accessories? Do you need them?? Or can you just buy the game?

BUT my main question is - how much is it if you buy it at like Best Buy? Or Gamestop?
